Lalashe Ripoi is a small tented safari camp set within the private Mara Ripoi Conservancy in Kenya's Maasai Mara region. The camp is positioned in a valley characterised by acacia and croton vegetation, with a dam on the property that can attract wildlife. The setting provides a natural backdrop for a stay centred on the surrounding wilderness and safari activities.
The accommodation comprises five spacious tented suites, with a Family Villa also available. The suites are designed with substantial indoor and outdoor living space and overlook the surrounding Ormoti Valley and Mara Ripoi landscape. Each suite has a private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a private balcony and an outdoor dining area. En-suite facilities include indoor showers and a bathtub, while private butler service is also provided. The main guest areas bring together several places to relax and dine, including indoor lounges, an outdoor lounge, a bar, a campfire area, indoor dining lounges and outdoor dining spaces. There is also a satellite television lounge and gym. The camp does not have a shared swimming pool; instead, each suite has its own private plunge pool. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and main areas, although the connection may be slow or intermittent because of the camp's remote setting.
Dining is offered as part of the camp's all-inclusive safari package, with meals served in different settings according to the experience and conditions. Options include indoor and outdoor dining, private meals in the suites, bush breakfasts, bush lunches, bush dinners and dining under the stars when weather permits. The camp also caters for dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free requirements.
Safari activities include game drives, walking safaris, birdwatching, wildlife photography, sundowners and bush meals. The property also offers night game drives in the Ripoi Conservancy.
