Payment & Protection FAQ
Is my deposit refundable?
Yes, if you cancel more than 60 days before departure, your deposit is fully refundable minus a small administrative fee. Between 30–60 days, 50% of the deposit is refundable. Within 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, bank transfers (USD, GBP, EUR), and M-Pesa for local payments. All card payments are processed via secure, PCI-compliant gateways.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely. A 30% deposit secures your booking, with the remaining 70% due 60 days before departure. For groups, we can arrange custom payment schedules.
What happens if Samton Safaris cancels my trip?
In the rare event we cancel a trip (e.g. due to safety concerns or force majeure), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend it. Travel insurance covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and baggage loss. We can recommend trusted providers who specialise in safari travel.
